The High Road is a boutique negociant producer who are benefiting from working with Miles Mossop as a consulting winemaker. They source their grapes from carefully selected trellised vineyards, from prime spots across Stellenbosch.
The result is an intense, concentrated, wine with notes of cassis, blackberries, and blueberries, with tobacco spice, dried herbs and violets.

Description
Viticultural Practices
The Cabernet Sauvignon grapes were sourced from carefully selected trellised vineyards in Stellenbosch. These low yielding vines contribute to an increased concentration of flavour in the wine.
Winemaking Practices
The wine was matured in French oak barriques for a year.
Tasting Note
The wine displays a beautiful deep garnet colour. Aromas of cassis, blackberries and blueberries burst from the glass with underlying notes of tobacco spice and floral notes of violets. There are flavours of dark bramble fruit, dried Italian herbs and notes of five spices on the palate. The entry is full and rich leading to soft subtle dry tannins. Drink now or within the next 3 to 5 years.
