Dalla Cia, Giorgio 2019
Giorgio Dalla Cia was the pioneer of the Bordeaux blend in South Africa, during his time at Meerlust Estate. His son George now carries on the legacy, based out of Stellenbosch.
This is a left-bank Bordeaux style blend. Cabernet Sauvignon driven, with Merlot and a touch of Petit Verdot.
Expect notes of blueberries, cherries, violets, tobacco leaf and spicy cedar wood, with a generous finish. A bottle sure to age kindly.
