Join us on Thursday 30th September for a sensory journey into the world and wines of Waterford Estate, Stellenbosch.

Complemented by an exceptional five-course dining experience from modern Greek restaurant OPSO, this special evening will guide you through the best of Waterford’s red, white, rosé and dessert wines – including their superlative flagship wine, The Jem.

What will happen on the night?

On arrival, you will be welcomed by your hosts for the evening; Sebastian Rezek (RAKQ Director) and Libby Zietsman-Brodie (City AM’s wine columnist).

The evening will start with a welcome glass before the tasting begins. You will then be guided on a recorded tour of the farm and wine range by Waterford’s passionate and dynamic young Winemaker, Mark Le Roux.

This will be followed by a five-course meal complemented throughout by tastings of the Estate’s full range.

 

Dietary requirements

A vegetarian meal option is also available on the night. Please just let us know in advance of the event so this can be arranged.

About Waterford Estate

Established in 1998 by Jeremy Ord and Kevin Arnold, a famous Rust en Vrede winemaker at the time, Waterford set out to produce the very best wine in the country. Fast forward 23 years and the wines being made by Mark Le Roux are incredible: fresh, clean expressions of prime Stellenbosch terroir.

OPSO restaurant opened in the heart of Marylebone in 2014 introducing a new approach to modern Greek food into London’s dining scene.

What happens if the event has to be cancelled due to Covid?

If the event has to be cancelled by the organisers as a result of Covid-19, a full refund will be issued.
